Why was Jesus willing to be born?
Even moreso, why was Jesus willing to be born TO DIE?
Asking and attempting to answer these quesions led to one of my favorite experiences speaking in The Harvest last week. Using the song “Born to Die” by Bebo Norman and a few verses from Hebrews 12, we examined the vast love of The Father and the Son that we celebrate so grandly during the holiday season, and discovered that if we truly grasp what Christmas is about we’ll never be able to untether the manger from the cross.
