Well, today was the big day; Emilie and I went in for the 18-week ultrasound, and found out that baby McCormack is, in fact, a boy…whom we have already named “Boston.”
We are beyond excited, and have already purchased Boston’s first articles of clothing. We went straight to Wal-Mart after finding out, and each got to pick something out for him. I chose a t-shirt that says “future rock star” on it…which MUST be true when your mom is Emilie McCormack.
It was incredible getting to look at our son on the ultrasound; he is VERY active. It seemed like every time the nurse tried to get a look at him he would take a lap around the womb. Hopefully we can channel that energy into a basketball scholarship.
Anyway, that is the big news. Please be praying for our little guy as his late-May arrival approaches, and feel free to keep my ridiculously beautiful, pregnant wife in your prayers as well. Em and I are off to Kauai with her family for Christmas, so we’ll check back in after new year. Be blessed!
